The ENS pursues the idea of cooperative research, teaching and administration. Scientific and administrative staff meet at eye level and as members of the ENS community. Research staff pursue their individual projects independently of chair structures and outside of formal hierarchies. At ENS, it is ideas, not hierarchies that matter.

6 Student researchers for Project on EU Elections
Our ENS Chair for Digital Democracy (Professor Ulrike Klinger) is looking for 6 student researchers to support a research project on the 2024 EU elections. We are looking for applicants interested in empirical research and fluent in Croatian, Dutch, French, Hungarian, Italian, Polish and/or Swedish for a quantitative content analysis of Facebook postings.
You will assist in the content analysis of Facebook posts by political parties in the 2024 European Parliament elections. As a first part of the job, you will receive extensive training to code these posts (about 10 hours), then perform the test coding and coding. The training and test coding will take place in August; the content analysis will be carried out in
September/October 2024. After the training, you can flexibly choose the hours and location of work. The extent of work and deadlines can be arranged on an individual basis.
